What is Oliver Perez worth to you?

A free agent at the end of the season, Perez, if nothing else, has been consistently inconsistent through out his career. He will most likely receive his big contract via free agency… as met fans the question we need to ask ourselves is do we want to pay for inconsistency? And if we do not want to pay him what other options do we have? Do we go after someone else in the free agency? Is there anyone in our farm system that might be able to mature over the course of this year and take the place of Perez next year?
