And the new knick coach is…

 Mark Jackson

Andrew Marchand of 1050 ESPN Radio in New York has reported that  Mark Jackson will be named the next Knicks head coach within the next few days.

I have not been able to varify this news anywhere else. It might just be speculation, but from what I can gather Walsh wants Jackson on the bench. There are also several reports that D’antoni might be headed to the Bulls.

Rivalry turned tragedy

After a Red Sox-Yankees argument spilled outside a bar in Nashua, N.H., a Yankees fan aimed her car at a group of people to scare them and didn’t brake, hitting and killing a man, authorities and witnesses said.

The Yankees fan, Ivonne Hernandez, was arraigned Monday on reckless second-degree murder and drunken driving charges and was held without bail. She did not enter a plea. Authorities won’t describe the argument, but witnesses said it heated up when Hernandez identified herself as a Yankees fan. Like the rest of New Hampshire, Nashua is Red Sox country.

Hernandez, 43, was speeding early Friday toward a small group that included the man, Matthew Beaudoin, 29, and never hit her brakes, a prosecutor said Monday.

“She indicated to police that she wanted to scare this group of people,” prosecutor Susan Morrell said. “She thought they would get out of the way.” …. reported by the Chicago Tribune
