ESCAPE FROM L.A.
The Mets where able to salvage the final game against the Dodgers, wining 12-1. After taking the first two games off the offense came trough big time scoring this many runs for the first time since the second game of the season. 3-3 on a tough road trip not bad, could have been better.
Maine is now clearly the second best pitcher on this team behind Santana.
Ryan Church is continuing to play stellar baseball, the teams MVP so far this season.
Wright, Reyes, and Beltran are the heart of this teams offense, and they need to pick up.
The Mets come home to start a 7 game home-stand with a weekend set against the Cincinnati Reds. The Mets need to beat up on the Reds who are a very spotty team.
