Mets take 3 out of 4

Last night the Mets beat the Dodgers 6-1, taking winning the 4 game series and spoiling Joe Torre’s return to New York. This was a great game for the Mets as the now have won 5 of 6 since their terrible streak a week ago. The turn around contiunes as Beltran is heating up and Church picked up right where he left off. Reyes now has a 17 game hitting streak and a 32 game on base streak. The Mets look to keep it up as the head to the west coast for 7 games agianst the Giants and Padres, two very bad teams that the Mets should take advantage of.

The Mets head to San Franciso today to take on the Giants. The big story here is that Pedro will return to the Mets Tuesday night against Barry Zito. Pedro could prove to be a huge lift for the Mets, looking forward to see how he pitches.
