• According to Henry Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle, the Braves are one team with “apparent interest” in Giants right fielder Randy Winn.

After a breath taking victory over Rocco Mediate in the Open on a playoff, Woods will have surgery on his left knee, ending his 2008 campaign. The surgery is rumored to be on his ACL. Supposedly his doctors warned him, but Tiger is a competitor. Looks like Tiger won’t be on the prowl for a while…
