NFL POWER RANKINGS

After Week 5 of the NFL here is how the teams stack up in my opinion.

1. New York Giants   (4-0)    -     The Giants made the Seahawks look like a pop warner team on Sunday. The defending champs are looking like just that. Their toughest games are still to come.

2. Tennessee Titans (5-0)   -    The Titans are the AFC’s only undefeated. They already have a big lead in the AFC South and got a big win against a very good Baltimore defense on Sunday. Kerry Collins is making it hard for Vince Young to get his job back.

3. Washington Redskins  (4-1)   -   Washington just beat Philly and Dallas on the road in back to back weeks. The Redskins look like a very different team then the one that played the Giants on Week 1. They could very well be 7-1 at the halfway point.

 4. Dallas Cowboys  (4-1)    -    The Cowboys are getting a lot of heat for the way they played on Sunday. They did win by 9 points against Cincy, the same team that took the Giants to overtime 2 weeks ago. Cincy may be winless but, we all tend to forget the Cowboys were playing the Cincinnati Bengals not the Bearcats.

 5. Carolina Panthers (4-1)    -   The Panthers look to be back to the form of a couple years ago. The defense looks great and Jake Delhomme looks healthy.

 6. Pittsburgh Steelers  (4-1)    -   Good road win against a tough Jacksonville team. Big Ben showed some toughness, as he is clearly playing through some painful injuries. Not to mention the team was without 3 of their top running backs.

 7. Denver Broncos    (4-1)    -     Nice win against Tampa on Sunday after getting embarrassed by the Chiefs a week ago. The defense played much better than in previous weeks.

 8. Buffalo Bills     (4-1)     -      Trent Edwards means a lot to this team.  If he is out for any long period of time, the Bills might be in trouble.

 9. New England Patriots    (3-1)    -    There was no way the Patriots would lose coming off their bye after getting embarrassed by the Dolphins at home. Belchick’s defense gameplan was right on againstthe 49ers.

 10. Chicago Bears     (3-2)        -       Good back to back wins for the Bears. The offense is improving each week and the defense is solid.

Skins are for real even w/ the loss yesterday, have you watched them play? They are great on both sides of the ball…Except for Week 1 against the Giants which I don’t know what happened in that game…
